Songs for Nobodies was a challenging set to paint due to how clean it needed to be. We didn’t want to see any seems, any wood grain or imperfections. Before we could begin to paint, we had to apply joint compound, sand it prime it, do a second coat in show black and then use an airless sprayer to apply the high gloss black. We achieved the silver rings by using a pounce and carefully painted in a layer of primer before going in with the silver.
